Peter Quinter is a world-renowned U.S. Customs and international trade law counselor and attorney who represents individuals and companies in a wide range of legal issues related to international trade and transportation, including litigation in various federal courts in Florida and in the U.S. Court of International Trade in New York. Prior to entering private practice, Peter served as Legal Counsel for the U.S. Customs Service (now U.S. Customs and Border Protection) Southeast Regional Headquarters in Miami, Florida. His responsibilities included providing legal advice and representation to Customs management on all administrative and enforcement matters involving Customs and international trade law. He advises U.S. Customs Enforcement on virtually all of its activities, commercial operations, fines, penalties, and forfeitures, and regulatory auditors. Peter also assists the U.S. Department of Justice with civil and criminal prosecutions for a variety of Customs violations, including commercial fraud, trade embargoes, and export controls.
Prior to joining Gunster, Peter was a partner in a large commercial law firm and head of the firm's U.S. Customs and International Trade Law Practice.
Jeffery A. Devore
About Jeffrey
Jeffrey Devire practices immigration and nationality law with the Devore Law Group in West Palm Beach (Palm Beach Gardens), Florida. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Bowling Green State University and his Juris Doctor degree from The Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He was admitted to The Florida Bar in May, 1990.
